Greetings. I really have some weird issues regarding Microsoft office package. I don’t know what happened and when, but I do know that I performed complete installation of MS office (run all from my computer). Now every time I try to open MS word for example, the installation prompt for some files is always showing up, then I must insert Office installation CD if I want to proceed. Where is the cache here? Thanks.

This issue might occur if you somehow deleted the installation source files from the cache. Some features until they are started for the first time, resident inside msocache folder. You have permanently removed that folder, before you started some particular feature I can say, now you must complete the installation, the renewal of those files. But, without your office CD, nothing.
