MS-Word Clipboard does not display some characters

Hello! I am using Microsoft Office 2002 and I can tell you that my Word Clipboard does not display some characters. Using clipboard is easier for me then using insert menu then Symbols, etc. But, since few days ago in my clipboard instead of e.g. arrows I can see only some squares. This is very difficult for me

Hello! Only I know about this problem is that it I caused because of unsupported font. So, if you made some changes in using font, back to previous version of it. That should solve your problem. But, if does not solve it, you can try to reinstall your Word. If this is useless, too, then, I am afraid, you will need to contact Microsoft technical support for help.
