Hello! I have a trouble: I have installed some updates for my windows XP Pro OS and now in my MS Outlook I cant open any .jpeg files. Weird thing is following: if I save .jpg file to my computer, I can easily open it with Photoshop or Windows Picture and Fax viewer. What to do?

Hello! My assumption is that you somehow changed security settings in Outlook. To change it go to tools menu, then click options, then choose option which allow you to see all .jpeg files in your e-mail massages. After you done this click apply and then ok. After above explanation, you will be able to open .jpeg in your mails.

Hi - I am having the same difficulty and was wondering if you ever figured out how to open jpg files in Outlook? I've been dealing with this for a couple of years and would love to be able to fix it.

Thank you!

I am having the same problem which has just occurred recently after a Windows update. I even tried adding a Level1Remove .jpg onto the registry as Microsoft suggested and it didn't help. I tried asking them for help and they state I need to contact my laptop manufacturer for a Windows Microsoft problem??? Give me a break... They want to charge $49 to help you. Bill Gates don't have enough money???

p.s. Is Outlook a Windows program or a Microsoft Office program?
