Recently when I start my Outlook 2003 and try to download from POP account I get this message
Microsoft outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close then the application is terminated and I cant do anything about it. What is happening? Do I have faulty version of Outlook? I work in winxp sp1 and till now outlook was working without a problem. And its happening just on specific accounts. If anybody knows something about it please share with me. Im becoming desperate and thinking about reinstalling the whole system.
Please help!
Strange the same thing happened to me. I thought I was the only one then I searched the net and realized that some people are encountering exactly the same problem. In my case I lost about 50 emails this way and they became an empty line inside the inbox folder. Also my computer became unstable and Outlook caused whole system to crash.
Unfortunately I tried many things starting from creating new account, then reinstalling Outlook. But when I start to download from specific account same error occurs all over and over again.
Also maybe you can reconsider installing a service pack 2 and all updates. I was unable to try that solution yet, but as soon as I can I will give it a try. If all of this doesnt help I will go back to Outlook express or choose some other solution. Im really tired of this battle and I need just a simple solution that works.
I would also like to know if somebody can help us with his opinion.
