| This is a common problem and I think you can manage solving it yourself. It happened to me too; I couldn’t update, install or recover my MS Office because the .msi file was missing. It is not exactly a file; it is more databases of the files, configuration information and the settings for the application. After the installation the file is saved in a hidden folder, and is now probably missing because it got deleted somehow. You should use the original Office installation CD when trying to repair it, and then you should use detect and repair option in your Office. I think this would do the job, because it will replace damaged files. |
