I have been using the internet for last two years and everything worked fine. However, since a month ago, I couldn't defend from all sorts of viruses. I even reinstalled Windows XP couple of times but it did not help me for a long. After a day or two on the Internet and I have the same problems. Now I have some MSN Hotmail problems. Are there any better browsers than internet explorer?

Of course, there are other browsers. Some of those are Netscape, Firefox and Opera. Many users think that they are even better and safer then the IE. I don't think that your problems are related to using Explorer. I am also spending much time on the Internet, I am using Internet Explorer, and I do not have any problems. You need some reliable anti-spyware software like SpyBot, which is efficient and free. You also need some good anti-virus software, which is efficient and free. I personally use AVG and I am completely satisfied. If you have Windows XP, you will also need Service Pack 2 to be installed. All those things will not slow your machine much and will give you enough protection. About your problem, IE is certainly not responsible for your problem with Hotmail. It could be, either, a problem with your provider or, which is more probably, you have some virus and their firewall won't let you in.
