| Hi there people. I have noticed that my computer has really small amount of RAM memory at startup, which is also degrading my performance. I have only few programs installed, since I did the new fresh installation of Windows. This lasts for five minutes after the boot time, and then the free resources are beginning to spread. I wonder, what kind of program can cause something like this? Thanks in advance. |

Hello. Almost any program which has startup modules for online update can cause behavior like yours is, I think. Plus, if you have installed some newer version of Windows XP with integrated service pack, and all the latest updates for it, than maybe some windows based component has linked it self with the other “foreign” dll. Check all your startup items by typing the “msconfig” in the run dialog box. Leave just necessary ones. This act also can be caused by some sort of infection.
