Hello! I have infelicity to catch some really bad virus in the internet. Only hope for me is destroying complete boot sector. I suppose that this is very irritating and hard work. I really do not know anything about low level format erase, but I hope that you do. Would you be so kind and tell me how do I low level format erase my Seagata HDD?

Hello! First, this action is better to call zero fill. For this, you need to download DiscWizard Starter Edition. Create a bootable diskette. Boot it and choose utilities - zero fill drive (quick) or zero fill drive (full). After that select drive for formatting and choose (better) zero fill drive (full), because this action will write over all data and it will erase them. This action could take few hours, but after it you wont regret. When you finished with this process, reboot computer and start with OS installation.
