| Hello there. I want to upgrade my computer with some more powerful CPU, but which one. That is the question. Beside CPU I am also upgrading motherboard, graphic card and RAM memory. I have made decision regarding other peripherals, but which CPU to take? How to determine which Core II Duo takes the most higher place, and which one best fits on motherboard with socket 975 chipset? Thanks in advance. |

| There is no need to spend the money on expensive hardware because there are always perfect combinations for less money. I am not saying that 975 chipset is bad or something, but that’s the best choice for the Quad Core CPU and you are pointing on Core II duo? Quad is fastest desktop sample so far, I think. Believe or not, you can make incredible results with 955 based mobo and the lowest Core II Duo at 1,8 gigs. Just because it is highly overclockable. Some dudes achieved over 3,5 gigs with that sample without a single problem. Really is interesting, right? Save yourself some money. |
