Windows XP Professional with Service Pack takes for about two minutes to boot up. I know this is not normal behavior, but I can not find out what is causing this. I have not made any changes on my computer before this issue and it started all of a sudden. Do you know what is happening and how to speed it up?

These long delays in boot up process can be caused by lot of things. Most common ones are damaged system, antivirus software and problems with IDE devices. If your system is so damaged that it causes such slowdowns then only cure is to reinstall it. If anti virus software is in question, then try some other software and see if it helps. If IDE channel is damaged or some IDE device is damaged then replace them as fast as you can.
