I have a brand new optical mouse from Logitech. It was doing well, but now it isnt so smooth. Like its full of dust or something. When I want to use certain tools in Photoshop it just want move at all. Options, like magnetic lasso, filters, pointers etc. I dont know if dust can enter my mouse because its optical and it doesnt have any holes in it. I tried to reinstall it but problem stays. Should I contact my vendor?

| There is no point calling your vendor because your warranty doesnt cover your optical mouse. Well, maybe it does, if its expensive, but I dont think so. Are you using a mouse pad? It could help you, because mouse movements depend on it. Purchase a one and give it a try. Then, maybe you mouse is not adjusted properly. You didnt mention what type of mouse you are using? Is it wireless? If your answer is yes, check your connectivity. See if your mouse base is close enough, maybe youre not getting the signal. And maybe some other signal is affecting your mouse. Like TV remote, CD system, DVD player. All of these devices are using same frequency range, so it can cause conflict. Instead of a mouse pad you can try with hard piece of paper. Wait, I just remembered. Silly, what about your batteries? How often you change them? You should do it not less then once a year. |
