Live Messenger trouble

Hi there. I am using Windows Live Messenger for quite some time now and I had no trouble until few days ago. Now I am unable to sign in at all. Windows Live Messenger just say Signing In... and never connects. I would really appreciate if someone could provide me some assistance with this problem.

Hello. DO you have Zone Alarm? There is a problem with Zone Alarm that will prevent you from signing in Windows Live Messenger. If you do not have Zone Alarm then open regedit, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER - Software - Microsoft - MSNMessenger – Policies. Select the policies key and delete it. Reboot computer and try to sign in Live messenger. This will solve your problem.
