My windows failed! I cant boot! I could reinstall it, but I have some important files on it which I havent backup. Im afraid of loosing it. I have called friend and he told that I can save it with Knoppix Linux live CD. My neighbor has this CD, but, would this help me? What if I make it worse? Is there somebody with experience with this rescue thing? I am thanking you in advance for your advices!!!!

Everything you heard is true. Knoppix live CD can save your data. To do that, please, follow instructions:
Go to BIOS and there set your computer to boot from cd/dvd rom, and then boot live cd in cd/dvd rom. After you installed it (installation could worked for the first time, but sometimes you need to reset your machine few times. Just for the record, you have nothing to worry about), plug in usb stick and copy needed files on it.
