Linux cannot connect to internet in VMware

Hello! I have a computer and it is running Windows XP pro operating system with service Pack 2 installed. I have installed VMware and I have created virtual machine which is running Rad Hat Linux distribution. Now, I have a problem: I can access to internet from XP, but I cannot from Rad hHat. Why?

Hello! I can bet that you cannot access internet from your virtual machine because you did not configured settings properly. You will need to access to VMWare and right click on your Linux machine. Select properties and go to network card setup. You should configure it as NAT. When you next time start your virtual machine, it will get its own IP address and it will be on separate network and you will have any problems to connect internet.
