I have a problem with my satellite modem and my Linksys BEFSR41 router. I bought whole components for my new computer and I wanted to combine them together by myself. After I did almost everything problem come out. When I plug my modem at the end, I have a problem with networking my satellite modem and router. Should I adjust something in my Linksys BEFSR41 router network setup?

There are few ways you could try to solve your problem. Some solutions are faster and others are not. First solution you could quickly try is to reconnect your cable in another socket on your modem. Sometimes manufacturer could make an error in marking sockets on modems. If that don't work try to move your modem to some other free slot. You should also try to find out the same modem as yours and try that one. If that one works then your modem is probably damage. You should also try another model of modem and in your machine. Some modems will simply not work with some chipsets like Lucent or Agere and nForce. If nothing of that work, you have to reinstall your Windows from the beginning.
