I have old computer with Windows Millennium on it. Few days ago I bought new computer with Windows XP professional. I want to connect these two computers and to create a LAN. Do I have to pay additional attention on some settings or I can just plug cables in run the wizard and share files?

If you want to be able to access to Windows XP Professional shares from Windows ME you will have to enable guest account on Windows XP and to create account with same username and password as on account on Windows Me. Otherwise there is no other special settings needed to link XP and Me computers.
