Hello. I have a problem with my internet connection ever since I got a new router (and DSL account). My connection keeps dropping, and even when it doesn't, it works poorly, with lower speed than I think it had before. If I turn everything off and back on, the problem goes away, but returns after some time. What can I do to stop this? TIA.

The first thing you need to do is confirm it's the router that's causing this. Plug the modem directly into the computer, detaching the router form the setup completely. If everything works OK, then it's really the router, and the first step toward resolving the issue would be updating its firmware. If the problem persists without the router, I'd suggest you take it up with the ISP instead.
