| I am using Limewire with a lot of weird comments about how easy is to spread the disease with this application. I really have strong reasons for not quitting with the usage of this program, no matter I really have some kind of infection for which I believe, came through Limewire. This is giving me a lot of headaches, and I want to remove all the threats. Which antivirus or firewall is compatible with the Limewire? Thanks in advance. |

| Hello. I dont know how some people dont use antivirus software at start, but they wait until something bad happens with their machines and than they are asking for help? It was always better practice to prevent than to heal. OK, here it is. Download and install AVG, COMODO Firewall and COMODO BOClean. All of them are totally free. Update them all to the maximum, and perform complete scan with the antivirus software. Keep your firewall always on, as the Anti-malware (BOClean) software. Keep in mind that COMODO firewall will be very curious about LimeWire activities. Maybe you will need an expert help to configure the rules about your favorite app. If this doesnt secure your system, than I dont really dont know what will. |
