Laptop wireless PC card not working

I have two desktop computers on the local network, and I recently tried to add an old laptop (running Win XP pro) onto it. It's using (or trying to use) a 3com 3CRSHPW_96 wireless LAN PC card. It does seem to connect, but it's constantly on "low or no connectivity" and cannot access anything. The other machines are OK. Any help?

From your description it's not easy to tell if anything's wrong, other than a possibly malfunctioning NIC. You need to provide us with some relevant info here, such as the laptop brand and model, ditto for the router. Finally, execute an IPCONFIG /ALL command at a DOS prompt, and copy and paste the results here.
