Laptop not connecting to wireless network

Ever since I reinstalled Windows (due to non-network reasons, I assure you) I have been unable to connect this Dell laptop to the local wireless network. Actually, I do sometimes manage to connect (albeit rarely) but soon enough it disconnects and/or freezes. I'm using a USB stick adapter to connect it has worked perfectly before to the DL-524 router. Any thoughts on the situation?

[/quote] Just one if you're experiencing hardware-related problems (this time it's your USB adapter) after a Windows re- installation, odds are you're having driver issues. Try reinstalling the USB adapter using updated drivers.
