Laptop not coming out of standby

Actually it does, but not completely. When I put the sucker into standby mode, the notebook will start up, but it won't draw anything on the display, I can hear the sound, and the hard drive from inside, but the display is dead. The only solution is reboot. After that, everything is ok, until the next attempt. The notebook is Clevo M570A. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello. I think that you might need some patch for this. Concerning Windows. I have Gentoo Linux installed on HP Pavillon and never issued any problem of this kind so far. Also, you might want to be sure that monitor power saving configuration is configured properly. Try using some Google help if notebook won't react even on mouse movements.
