Hello. I have some old laptop with one very crazy factory problem I guess, I dunno. It seems like there is no way to turn off very strong brightness level. I have two buttons on the display, but there is no change after anything I try with them. I can read this way, under some custom angle, but that's not what I consider as a solution. If there is some workout for this, I would really like to hear about. Thanks so much in advance.

Hello. Let's hope that there is something inside BIOS to set up, or inside power settings scheme to mess with. If not, you can try to get more darker picture by holding 'fn' key on your keyboard and to tap the arrows up or down. Some older notebooks are equipped with this feature. If display is not damaged, than probably you have locked BIOS factory settings for extended battery life and overall performance.
