Laptop is still slow after RAM upgrade

Well, I am student of architecture. Because of my faculty, I have to have strong computer. Rendering and drawing need and use a lot of memory. So I decided to do RAM upgrade. I bought one more RAM and connected it. But Laptop is still slow after RAM upgrade. Please advice me what to do. Thank you in advance.

I understand that you have more RAM memory. I am also doing a lot of work on a computer with programs that need a big deal of RAM memory. So I had to upgrade my memory also. But when you are upgrading memory, you must be very careful. Because you must buy compatible RAM to the one you already have. In the case if this two RAM memories are not compatible, than you will have to change it. It is really serious thing, because your RAM memory that is damaged or not compatible may crash your system.
