Hello there. Is there anyone who can tell me a bit about laptop batteries? Are the differences between various kinds of batteries really visible in anything else but their price? I mean, I was advised to buy a new laptop battery and when I checked the prices…I must say I was really shocked. What would you advise me?

HI! As far as I know, there are really great differences between various types of laptop batteries. And, as for all the other things you get for how much you have paid  I know that unlike those cheap batteries which hold for less than 2 hours, those batteries which are more expensive, usually last a bit more, sometimes even for 6 hours. So, if you want to invest more money, you will most definitely see the difference for yourself.

Well, I was having same ideas, you know. I also think that it is better to pay more when you are buying, and to have a more reliable and more durable product. Honestly, I was very annoyed by my laptop battery, because it could never last for more than 90 minutes, which is really nothing. So, I would like the new one to be better, and I do not know how to be sure that I am making a right decision.

It is the best for you to go to the website of the manufacturer of the laptop, and see what are their recommendations. I mean, I think you will be able to find out easily which is the best possible battery for your model, and which is what they call a best buy. My battery for example, holds for about 2 hours and a half, and it is OK if you ask me.
