Laptop S-video gives black and white picture?

Hello! I have a problem with my laptop and TV. What I want to say is following; when I connect my laptop and TV and I try to watch some video on TV, I can do that, but the picture is black and white. I am afraid that something is broken and I cannot figure out what. Can you tell me how to solve this problem? Thanks!

Hello! I think that nothing is broken. There are only two possible things. First, maybe you did not connect properly your laptop and TV, because when you do not do that properly, you getting black and white picture. Second, maybe you need new cable for connecting laptop and TV, because your currently cable is broken.
