| When I bought a new computer last month, I also bought a new Samsung monitor with it. From the beginning, I was experiencing some problems with that monitor. It does not have a sharp picture on its display. When I call the store and ask them what to do, they told me I have to do a degauss. I do not know what to do. Should I maybe by some LCD with bigger resolution? |

| There are couple of possibilities that could cause your picture problem. Magnets in your speakers could do that problem with monitor if its position is close to the monitor. First, degaussing could be done from the monitor built-in menu. If it will not help you after the first usage, you should not try it more because it could damage your monitor. You could try also other things. Try to see the picture on some other Samsung monitor. Maybe that is its normal picture. Next thing, you should try is to move your speakers further from the monitor. If that will not help, try to reinstall your video card drivers. Also, try to check the picture on your monitor in different resolutions. At last, try to check your monitor on some other computer. If nothing of that helps you, it is most probably faulty and you should take it back to the store where you bought it. |
