LCD or Plasma Screen?

Maybe this is a stupid question but I was wondering what is the difference between LCD and Plasma screens? Which one is better? I’ve been thinking about buying a really big one and using it for both computing and TV. Any oppinions?

Well the main difference is this: Plasmas are better when it comes to TV and all kinds of moving pictures. Generally they give better picture but they have problems with static images. You might cause a burn in by leaving an image on the screen for to long and that is why computers have Screen Savers. So if you plan on playing computer games and leaving them paused for a long time I’d suggest you buy LCD. Size wise plasma is generally cheaper but they don't make the same sizes so that is a difficult to compare.
