LCD monitor works in safe mode only

Hi people. I need help with LCD monitor. I have Samsung 19'' LCD monitor and XFX 6600GT video card. When I boot Windows monitor goes to stand by mode and nothing can bring him back. However, monitor works in safe mode completely normally. Can you tell me what to do in this situation?

Hello. There are several possible scenarios here. First of all, are you sure video card is working? If I were you I would check it another computer because when monitor works only in safe mode it is usually video card issue. Also, check screen resolution and refresh rate in display properties. Resolution might be set to unsupported value for your monitor (this can happen if you changed monitor prior to this problem).
