I'm working on a computer for a friend. It's a T2200 Emachine, AMD Athon Processor with DDR memory. It looks like the motherboard Model is L7VMM2.

Here is what happened: What I first started looking at the computer the computer would not turn on or boot up. I replaced the power supply and it now turns on. However, it won't boot up. I tried replacing memory and hard drives without any luck. It also destroys the keyboard. Embarassed The keyboard has to be thrown away. I've fried two or keyboards already.

Any ideas, what the problem could be?
