| I have recently installed a new firewall. Among many decent, I have chosen Kerio Personal. However, recently I got a problem with IDS. Even though I update the program regularly, I have recently had a lot of problems with IDS. If anyone could give me a hint just how to solve it, that would be great. |

| Kerio is one of the best firewalls and Personal version is not an exception. When it comes to IDS, you should know that is actually an acronym for Intrusion Detection System. Essentially, this component is obviously one of the most important in the program. If you are unsatisfied with the performance by Kerio, and have such a problems, maybe the anti-virus program is leaking? In any case, what you can do with Kerio about such systems is not much unless you are a security expert, and for a reason, since needs of the majority do not go beyond those options you can work with in the program itself. Sometimes IDS can shut down the network access and that is what many people experienced. However, it is most commonly due to the other firewall not being removed completely (most notably Zone Alarm). Check if that is the case. I think this should solve the problem. Best of luck. |
