| I have installed Mandrake 9 and thats it. My older brother helped me. But, I dont know how to use it. I have, also, windows system and, from this point, linux is pretty unuseful for me, because I cant write all of my documents over again and cant go to irc chat and all that I can do in Windows. So, I want ask you why are people use linux for? |

| You dont need to write your documents. You have open office in linux. With this feature you can smoothly open all your documents written in word. Also, you can, when you write something in open office, save it as a .doc file, so you can easily open it by MS word. Regarding irc chat, you can use Qirc (its like mIrc). You can play movies by mplayer and music by xmms. As you can see, on linux you can do everything as on windows. |
