Maskpersky is detecting something called “js.exception.exploit”, but it want remove it! The delete option is faded out, and I don’t know why! Is this a high-risk infection? Ow do I get rid of it? My AV databases are up to date as of today. Thanks in advance.
According to symatec.com, this JS.Exception.Exploit is not an actual “file” that you can “delete”. It’s supposedly just an option for an exploit which your AV program detects as such as precaution. The fact that it’s detected usually means it’s also blocked, so it shouln’t present a security hazard any more. I wouldn’t call it high-risk in the first place, since it’s mostly used to hijack older and unpatched versions of IE.
