Hi. I have some really non-standard issues with my PC. You see there is no word about two PC's, the share is between two operating systems. Vista and XP. Vista is able to see everything from XP's My Documents folder, but isn't able to play any music file as any other video file and so on. I don't have access permissions. What am I supposed to do with this situation?

Hello. This is not SOS emergency in any way, it's a normal thing when someone, or you, puts advanced permission or just when "make my folders private" from XP is ticked. You probably did that while ago. You need to restore default permissions from XP or to tell Vista to "overtake" the file access. You can do that from advanced file sharing options.
