My computer worked perfectly fine until I had to reinstall Windows. I have installed Windows XP Professional again, but now I can not get internal network card to work. I have tried everything I know but internal NIC is not recognized by Windows XP. I have checked this in device manager. Any suggestions?

I have only one suggestion regarding this issue with internal NIC- install motherboard drivers. Windows XP is not able sometimes to recognize integrated components like audio or network card. Drivers for integrated devices are bundled with motherboard drivers. So, go to manufacturer web site, download drivers and install them. Problem will be solved.
