| I have been working in Excel 2000 until recently. Now I work in Excel XP. However, I needed to print some old stuff I did in previous version. I thought there will be no problems, but there were some issues. The documents have not appeared on the paper as they did on the monitor. What could be the problem? Thanks in advance for any suggestions. |

| Mixing different version of programs and files can really result in various unexpected problems. Usually new programs can open something that was done in an older version. However, drivers used for printing are not that flexible some times. There is one thing you can do. Do not simply open and print the old file. Open it and that see if you can save it in a new format. Sometimes there can be problem in file format, so be sure to choose the latest one supported. If that does not work, maybe the program itself is in a problem. Because of that you should try to reinstall it, or try to open the same in Word and print it from there. Best of luck. |
