Hi there guys. I have a strange issue with the start up of my PC. I am a new PC user, and do not know much about this stuff. As I know, I have Windows XP installed. It happens to me that whenever I turn on my PC it just stops responding. What shall I do? Is it serious? Can I fix it myself or shall I call the professional?

You may try to fix it yourself, and if that doesn’t work, call the professional. I can recommend you to try to start your system in safe mode. You can do this by restarting your system and pressing F8 key. You should than select safe mode option when the menu appears, and then press ENTER. Now, when your system boots in safe mode and it will last a while, you should open device manager and see if every device has its driver installed. If all the drivers are properly installed I would use the last good known configuration option, and try to restore the previous settings that worked. That is what you can try yourself, for sure.
