I have XP Home Edition operating system and recently I have installed Belkin UPS for hardware security (power voltage at my home are not stable). This device I plugged and install properly. But, since then every time I boot my system XP auto detects new hardware and want to install software for it. How I can stop this auto detecting thing?

Try to run auto detect and install software again. If doesnt stop, then go to control panel - add/remove hardware and uninstall ups (if windows detected at all). The problem occurred because you first plugged in device, and after that install software. Just to know that always first you do installation and then attaching.
