Hi people. I have to admit that I have very strange problem with BIOS , but I do not know if it is serious. To get to the point. I have Gigabyte motherboard with Award BIOS. I have tried to change boot device order and to set DVD to be first boot device. I have changed settings in BIOS (I assume correctly because I have done this numerous times), but after restart nothing changed. Hard drive was first boot device again. Do you know something about this problem?

Hello. I have to disappoint you and tell that you have a serious problem with BIOS. I have heard about similar issues before but I was not able to find any definite solution. Recommended procedure is to clear CMOS (either with jumper on motherboard or by taking out CMOS battery for several minutes) or to flash BIOS. People reported that this helped them, but there were some people whose BIOS was not repaired this way.
