| Hello! I am in big trouble and I need urgent help. I have CD-RW with very important data on it. I wanted to copy these data to my computer and burn them to DVD-RW. But, when I took CD-RW I have seen that some dried substance is on it. Anyway, I have tried to read it with my CD/DVD burner, but I could not. Now I am wondering is there such thing as CD/DVD recovery software? |

| Hello! Well, I will disappoint you: no, there is not. I mean you can find on some web sites commercial for miraculous software (on some sites you can buy it, too), but that is just fraud. But, I have possible solution for your problem. I had same problem as you few times and each time isopropyl helped me. Just take isopropyl and clean your CD-RW. Regarding cleaning: clean it with your fingers tips. And, when you clean it, wipe from center to outward (never circle). |
