Is there still Virus on Kazaa?

I got a PC at my workplace last month. They also installed me an ADSL Internet connection. A friend installed me a program called Kazaa. He told me that it had a virus problem in the past but now it is safe. It worked great until yesterday. Now, whenever I start my computer I have an instant network activity and my internet connection rapidly slows. Is there still virus on Kazaa?

From your symptoms, I am almost certain that you have virus on your computer. To be more precise I think that is a virus from category of Downloader or Trojan. The viruses from those categories are providing free access to your machine to his owner. I also belive that you get that virus from Kazaa because that is the common problem for Kazaa users. I also had to reinstall my computer few times because of Kazaa. From last month, I found out a solution to that problem. That solution is combination of AVG and Seagate firewall. First, use AVG from your XP Safe mode to clean the virus and than install Seagate to stop any further infection.
