| I know that I can connect two computers through router. But, I want to know is there any possibility to connect them without it? I do not have a router and I do not want to buy one. I would like to share some folders, printer, and scanner. Is it difficult set up that kind of network? |

| No, its not difficult. Install Ethernet adapter on both machines, then configure adapters with static IP addresses and subnet, then check are both computers configured as members of same workgroup. After you done this, connect crossover cable to the Ethernet port of each computer. After that reboot computers. They should be in the network now. Now you can share files, folders, devicesAlso, you can transfer files between these two computers. I hope I helped you. |
