| My PC is too old and numerous applications, not to mention games, can’t run smoothly on it. So, after it failed to start Photo Shop yesterday, I realized I should buy a new machine. I mean, it’s high time to update myself. I’ve started browsing the Internet in order to choose the components and I don’t know whether to buy a dual core processor or a regular one. Is a dual core processor a good choice? |

| Eh, my friend, I know that I will be severely attacked for stating my opinion about this but I’ll have my say nevertheless. I think that we, mortals, who use PCs only for browsing the Net, listening to music, watching movies, and finishing some business not related to graphics, can do with very simple machines. I think that I wouldn’t even notice the difference between some ultra speedy PC and the one I posses right now which is average. I don’t know much about these Dual Core processors apart from the fact that they’re considerably faster. It has something to do with faster data transfer or something like that. My point is that you shouldn’t exaggerate and buy a PC that is very expensive if you don’t use its maximum, but this Dual Core processor seems to be useful, especially if you’re a gamer. |
