| Is Matrox still present on the technology market? I think I have not seen their product for years now, and it used to be such a good company. I know they developed some other things – some cameras or something like that, not only graphic cards, but no trace of them. I know technology changes very fast, and that in that process many companies appear and disappear, but what happened? |

| I do not think something disastrous happened to Matrox. Even though their graphic cards were popular for a while, they never held more than 5 percent of that market, so they switched their focus on time. As I know, they started to develop more in government application as well as in enterprise and industrial ones. So, it still functions, but focuses on three different areas, such as graphics, digital video editing and developing smart and video cameras. I am sure some of their products can still be found, I guess you just were not looking for them. They were smart to transform on time, some were not. |
