| I have decided to buy my first computer some time very soon. I have been researching a little and DELL seems to make the best and most dependable configurations. However, some of my friends have told me DELL puts spyware on their computers in order to monitor what we are doing on the internet. It really bothers me whether this is true or not, so if anyone could tell me if that is the case or not, it would be great. Thanks in advance. |

| Whether certain software companies, or some computer manufacturers are putting some sort of spyware to monitor their clients has become a burning question recently. Such reports have been more frequent and many people want answers. The companies say they only have the ability for limited monitoring of your internet activities that is solely meant to be for your own benefit. For example, they see what you are buying, and then start sending you recommended things of the similar sort you might be interested in too, thus saving you time for searching the same things on the internet. However, be sure that a company like DELL would not risk their reputation by putting anything you might not want in your machine, and you can buy it freely. |
