I need some help with my BIOS update. I downloaded the BIOS for my Asus motherboard from the Internet. When I tried to install the BIOS, I get an error message and now my MoBo is overheating. I do not know what is wrong. Is my Asus mobo dying? I really need some help guys.

Your Asus mobo is not dying, I am sure. There are several reasons that could cause problem like yours. First, it could be an error in the process of downloading and your BIOS might be damaged. You could try to download it once again and than try to reinstall it. If that won't work, you should check if you have a proper BIOS version for your motherboard model. If not, you have to find and download a proper version for your motherboard. Third reason for your problem could be that your BIOS may need some service pack or special add-ons. If that is your problem, you need to find out what are those things.
