Irfanview update fails

I am unable to update IrfanView. Currently I have IrfanView3.99 and I wanted to update on version 4.0. I have uninstalled previous version and then installed new one but after this I was not able to start IrfanView. I am receiving following error: Error in iview400_setup.exe, the program must be terminated. Any ideas?

I have only two possible ideas. First one is that downloaded file is corrupted and the other one is to disable antivirus software while installing IrfanView. You can try first option first and download IrfanView again and then try to install it from newly downloaded setup file. If that fails then disable antivirus and install this software.
