I have a huge problem. My PC died a few days ago and I just decided to buy a macbook. The problem is that all the music I have now is on my iPod and since I used to have a PC, it’s all PC-formatted. Will I be able to transfer that music from my iPod to my new macbook? If the answer is yes, please explain how. Thanks!

First of all, have you tried to save the data from your HD? I don’t know what exactly did you mean by ‘my pc died’ but it might be that your HD is still ok. Maybe you should go to someone who could check if your hard drive still functions and backup your data including music. I’m telling you to try this first because transferring music from iPod to Mac isn’t easy at all. First of all you need a program called iGadget. And it will work only if the files aren’t DRM protected. But if they are, you need another application – tune bite. You shouldn’t have problem googling it. I hope that this helps.
