After running registry cleaner software I got a report about several invalid entries that all point to some missing icon. I have deleted them but location they are pointing to caught my eye. It is a support.com folder in program files and file is misc.exe,6. I do not know about such folder or such file. Can you shed some light on this?

Folder with name supprt.com should not exist. It is no a legit folder and if registry keys had in the end of the string "misc.exe,6" entry that means they were pointing to sixth icon in this exe file. This is, I am almost sure, some malicious software. You should run antivirus and antispyware as soon as possible and then report back what they found. Just to check if we have to do something more about this problem.
