I have a problem with internet connection sharing using crossover cable. One computer connects to internet by a dial - up modem. Second computer is connected to the first with crossover cable. Both computers are running Windows XP Professional. The problem is that I am unable to make internet connection sharing on the first computer so second one can not access internet. Do you have any suggestion?

To enable internet connection sharing on a computer you have to have two network cards installed. Only then you will have an option to use Internet connection sharing. Install another network card in a first computer (no matter you will not use it) and then configure internet connection sharing using crossover cable.
