Internet explorer has encountered a problem message

I have problems with Internet Explorer 6. When I try to open web page it crashes and gives me an error saying: Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience., and in error report some dll file named pdm.dll is mentioned. Can you help me to solve this issue because I am unable to see any web page?

This is documented error and there is information how to solve this issue on Microsoft knowledge base web site. To cut the story short you will have to disable script debugging in Internet Explorer. To accomplish this go to Tools menu and choose Internet option. In the window that pops up go to Advanced tab and check Disable Script Debugging check box in the Browsing group box.
